[MUD-Dev] pfiles

Hello everyone!
I have been looking at reducing the size of pfiles.
Instead of saving each object individually why not combine like objects
(similar to do_inventory() with the combine flag)
Has anyone seen/done this before?
I sure would hate to reinvent the wheel here.
