Interesting in this context, perhaps, is my many attempts to create
socialiser oriented classes on muds that I have had some influence
on in the past. Needless to say that generally speaking the admin
was less than thrilled.
Just a word of caution though. Do not make the mistake that Bartle's
article encourages in assuming that socialises -only- want to talk.
They do not anymore than explorers only want to maximise their abi-
lities or achievers want to maximise their stats. Players want many
different things, and it is only their main focus that defines them
as a socialiser or any other of Bartle's suits.
Just making sure that groups are necessary on your mud goes a long
way to encourage socialisers...

Yes - at last - You. I Choose you. Out of all the world,
out of all the seeking, I have found you, young sister of
my heart! You are mine and I am yours - and never again
will there be loneliness ...
