Interesting concept, I'll have to look into it some. Although the
mathematics and complexity of using actual polygons isn't out of my
reach, I've done a ton of research on the multitudes of algorithms
to apply. Just the same, it might be worth it to look into your
recangle/triangle theory to speed up the engine, if it would, in
fact, do such.
