A variant would be to give a better deal (in terms of old experience
carryover) for trying something new. And/or to make the amount
carried over for a class increase as a function of time spent
playing other classes. The latter would support trying other things,
but without enforcing it if your decision, now much better informed
by exploration, is to go back and make another ranger or what have
